Retail Customer Team Support Manager - Sales

My role is to lead and co-ordinate the Retail Customer Support Teams within the Sales Department, which involves training, development, supporting individuals and managing team structures and workloads.
Due to the ever changing, deadline driven environment in which my team works, planning and organising is of the essence in order to be effective. The most important qualities in my role are: assertiveness, a positive attitude, a motivational approach and ethos of improvement.
Knowledge of the systems/processes is also of the essence in order to support my team to deliver the Operating Plan consistently across the Customer Teams. I particularly enjoy working in such a fast paced environment and the element of the job which I find most rewarding is the support of people’s development.
